My name is Adam Keser and I am an assistant coach with the Vancouver Aces. As a former VGSA assistant coach, I wanted to pass the word along to your athletes about an exciting fundraising event. The Vancouver Aces’ 9u team is organizing a hit-a-thon fundraiser this summer (July 17th) to benefit Team Luke Hope for Minds, an amazing 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of children with brain injury and give hope to their families through support and education. This event will be held at the Ridgefield Raptors Sports Complex. Exciting prizes, such as signed sports memorabilia, will be awarded to the top fundraisers, as well as hit-a-thon champs by age division. Each athlete will be asked to provide a $100 donation to enter the event. At that time each athlete will be allowed 10 swings.
I have included our Vancouver Aces Hit-A-Thon Flyer along with a recent news story about our fundraising efforts. Last I have am also including an ESPN link that speaks more to the Luke Hope For Minds Organization.
